usbloader gx

so who is our local pro with this ?
I put 27 games on a hd, have tried about 10 of em, 2 have worked, the rest either lockup or return the 002 error.
have tried with neogamma also (newest one I think) and same thing happens

4.1u is the system

well since you said at least two work, then it isn't an hdd compatibility issue.
do you have the latest usb loader gx installed? do you have cios38rev14 installed?

I believe yes is the correct answer to both questions...

hmm, well maybe its the games that you are trying to play?
i don't really use it that much because of all the compatibility issues.

Hi there,

What do you have your 002 fix setting on? if its on "anti" try it on "on" and around the other way.

do you have hermes 222 installed? make sure that your global settings are set to 222 as the ios. if you want to use 249 set it individually on the game.

Try messing around with some of the settings on each individual game as well. There are some strange quirks on my set up (4.1 usb loader rev 983) for example Super Mario Gallaxy will only run if I have region forced to pal50 (my region) , language forced to English and the 002 fix set to "on".

Also what games are working? If they are really small games it could still be the HDD. I had a very similar problem to you. the only games that worked for me were links cross bow training and raymond raving rabids. Any games over 1.5 gig would not play with out freezing. I changed the HDD (WD 80gig SATA) to a WD note book and it all worked well.

oh also haha . . . . have you have changed the USB loader rev since you first installed it? if so make sure you go into your config folder on the SD card and delete all files for USB loader GX. Apparently there is a chance that they may not be compatible with newer/older rev's (you will have to set your settings to your preferences again tho I think)
