| How do I past the update on the Conduit? From what I've gathered, The Conduit disk has an update on it, but I don't want to risk bricking my wii until I know for sure what I should do. I will be using wiigator to load a backup version of it. If anyone could help me, I'd be very grateful. Thanks. | |

| if you are going to use a backup of the conduit, and you are going to be playing it using the backup launcher, then the update will not even exist, you will be able to play not even worrying about it.
although, if you are using the original disc, then you would have to use preloader to bypass the update.

| so this is the case with the wiigator launcher? or the softmii launcher? or both? Sorry, but I just want to be really certain before I risk bricking my wii, since I have no money lying around for a replacement | |

| I have a copy of the conduit and of course I ran wiibrickblocker on it first. Do you have a brickblocker program try using this program and use the patch it should take any possible updates out of a back up. Just try googling wiibrickblocker its easy and I hope they put it on wiikend hacks someday. | |

| i like the way you talk fred lol although, if its a backup and we have preloader to stop disc updates, i don't see a reason to brickblock the iso. wiibrickblocker is kinda outdated, no offense. do you have preloader? i bet you would like it | |

| Ryan I have to admit when I first put preloader on my wii I really hated it, but after time I got use to it and I realize how great of a program it is I would recommend it to everyone. | |

does preloader boot up everytime you start up your wii? because that is annoying, and can also be fixed.

| well, from the preloader main menu, you go to settings. then you change preloader to boot to the system menu rather than booting to preloader. | |
