Update BUL3g to NeoGamma

Hi,
I followed successfully the steps you gave to install on the follwing link

I then tried to play Colin Macrae Dirt2.0 and got the error code 002

So what I have read by trawling the net is..
1. Get the cIOS38 rev 15 -> copy the boot.dol file into APPS -> CIOS INSTALLER (overwrite the previous one from the install method in the above link)
2. Copy Neo Gamma R7.wad into the folder WAD
3. put the SD card in the Wii
4. Launch the Hombrew channel
5. launch cIOS rev 15 from the hombrew channel and wait for the install to complete
6. Goto main Wii menu
7. Go to Data Management then choose Channels followed by SD
8. Choose "Yes" to load boot.dol - LoadMii will then load.
9. Select and Run WAD Manager 1.4
10. make sure the system is using IOS 249
11. Install NeoGamma R7 (do I have to unistall BUL3g??)
12. Restart Wii

Is this the approach I need to get the latest and greatest Neogamma, or is it not needed??

yes, absolutely. you are on the right track. its a good idea to delete the other loader so that you don't get them mixed up lol

I actually took a leap of faith and tried out some stuff from the Afterdawn.com forums.
I deleted all the stuff from my SD card and reformatted it, and deleted the channels from the Wii that had been installed previously.
I then used the following link (includes files / updates ad everything you need) to basically re-do what your blog had shown me, to update eveything.

It worked out perfectly, and I can play all the latest games...even had DiRT 2.0 running the other day. The only one I can't seem to get going is Grand Slam Tennis.. but never mind....
